Once again, we called it.
On May 20, 2025, XTech research predicted a +0.1% MoM increase in the CPI, as well as a +2.4% YoY rise. Today, the BLS released the same figures. For the third month in a row XTech has correctly predicted the CPI. On the contrary, consensus was wrong again. 71 economists predicted a +0.2% MoM rise and a rise of +2.5% YoY.
Our data-driven approach is fueled by advanced machine learning and alternative data, allowing us to supply accurate macro forecasts faster than the rest. On the third Monday of each month, we release our initial CPI projections which offers clients a massive advantage over the competition. We strive for accuracy and believe our clients deserve it. That’s why we will always update our clients as new data is processed.
